Miss Cape Verde International
Eligibility Requirements

Must be female and have Cape Verdean citizenship

Must be between the ages of 18 - 28 years

Must be at least minimum of 168cm height and above

Must have must have never been arrest or convicted of any crime (Submission of Police report)

Must have never modelled for any sexually explicit pornographic materials. Artistic nudes are acceptable but must be approved by the organisation.

Must be in good physical and mental health and have no known current sickness that can be contagious.

Must be committed to adhere to all the pageant rules and regulations upon acceptance.

Must not be under any commercial contract with any agency at the time of appearing for the auditions. The applicant once shortlisted cannot be part of any other commercial contract.

Photo requirements that must be sent to the website are photos of participants wearing white T-shirts and jeans.

In order to be eligible to compete internationally the applicants shall not have ever been married (Civil nor Customary) nor had a marriage annulled.

Must be in a position to represent and they have never given birth to or parented a child and is not currently pregnant.

The applicant may not have previously won Miss Cabo Verde International or held the title of Miss Cabo Verde International in a previous year. The applicant may not have placed as a runner-up within the 2 (two) preceding pageant years (an applicant may enter again if they have been a finalist in a preceding year).

There is no restriction in terms of tattoos or piercings that the applicant may have.

In the event that any false or misleading information of whatsoever kind is submitted by the applicant the organisation may in its sole discretion take any action that it deems appropriate, including without limitation, disqualification from participating in the Miss Cabo Verde International 2024 competition, and/or termination of reign as a titleholder or as Miss Cabo Verde International 2024, as applicable.

Finalists may be required to attend and/or endorse certain objectives as required by the Miss CVI organisation which may include online or physical attendance at sponsor events and workshops and are therefore not permitted to enter another competition that may coincide or conflict with the time-line of the pre-competition and pageant.

Should you be selected as a MissCVI 2024 finalist you will be required to ensure your availability to the miss cvi organisation recurrently from August 2024 to mid-July 2025. Format and details will be shared by the miss cvi organisation.

The Miss Cabo Verde International 2024 pageant finale will take place in August 2024, date to be confirmed.

The winner of the Miss Cabo Verde International pageant will be contracted to the Miss CVI organisation as a brand ambassador thereof for their full year reign. Following the completion of their reign they may be required to assist with up to 12 appearances.

Runner(s)-up of the competition hereby agree to be contracted to the miss cvi organisation for the year following the pageant event.

No family of the Miss Cabo Verde International organisation or related companies, or any sponsor, production company, advertising agencies or suppliers associated with the competition will be permitted to enter.

What images should i submit when entering?
You need to submit a minimum of two photographs with your entry form – a portrait shot and a full body image. Both MUST be in color (no black and white images will be accepted) and photographs must have been taken within the last six months.
You will be able to submit more images. However, you will not be advantaged in any way should you submit more than the two compulsory pictures.
Submit a clear head and shoulders picture. Try to be as natural as possible with natural make-up. Stay away from heavy or dramatic make-up.
Full body image of you standing – this image can be in a beautiful outfit; it is not compulsory to submit a bikini or swimsuit image.
Do i need to have professional quality photos taken?
It is not compulsory to submit professional entry images. The Miss Cabo Verde International Organization is aware of the costs to have professional images taken and wants to encourage potential entrants not to be deterred from submitting images taken using a cellular phone. However, should you have professional images, you are welcome to submit them.
Note – AUTHENTICITY is key! Please refrain from using filters or over-editing your entry images. We want to get to know YOU, as you are.
